The MedVital Health Residence is a place for health and longevity, where promoting a vital life for our patients, spa guests, and residents is our focus. Approximately 50 km south of vibrant Munich lies the popular Tegernsee Valley. The mountains of the Bavarian Alpine foothills are within reach. The heart of the region is the climatic health resort of Tegernsee. Our health residence is located right there, directly on the southeast shore of the picturesque lake.

What is a Medical Health Resort and how does it differ from a regular wellness resort?
A medical health resort is a specialised health resort that combines traditional wellness and relaxation facilities with medical treatments and services. In contrast to a normal spa or wellness hotel, which mainly focuses on relaxation and well-being, a medical health resort also offers medically supervised programmes, such as biohacking retreats , which are tailored to the health needs of guests or patients. The aim of our Medical Health Resort is to promote a long and healthy life.
What medical services do you offer at your Medical Health Resort?

On site at our Medical Health Resort, you will find specialists in general medicine, gynaecology, anaesthesiology and sports medicine, physical and rehabilitative medicine as well as nurses, physiotherapists, osteopaths, nutritionists and dermatotherapists. We also have access to a large network of experts from the Tegernsee Valley and the region.
Does your Medical Health Resort have programmes for chronic illnesses?
Yes, we also look after patients with chronic illnesses. We tailor the programme to the individual clinical picture.
What does a typical day at your Medical Health Resort look like?
This is what a day with us can look like for you:

How long should a stay at your Medical Health Resort ideally last?
We recommend a minimum stay of three weeks at our Medical Health Resort. However, if your diary does not allow for this, you can also achieve noticeable changes with just one week.
What does a stay at your Medical Health Resort cost and what is covered by health insurance?
The cost of a stay at our Medical Health Resort depends on the room category and starts at € 340.00 per night including full board. Medical treatment is billed according to the scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ). We ask for your understanding that we cannot guarantee actual reimbursement of costs by your private insurance company. Whether services are reimbursed depends on the terms and conditions of your insurance policy and your chosen tariff.
Does your Medical Health Resort have special programmes for stress management and burnout prevention?
Yes, after an initial examination, we will work with you and our team of experts to develop a plan to reduce stress and thus prevent burnout.
